CLUBS

In order to encourage students to use their talents beyond classroom work, the Film & Art Center has established different clubs for students to participate in. By joining the clubs, students not only have the opportunity to socialize with other students, they can also partake in the various projects, competitions and activities held all year round.

MEMBERSHIP

Membership is required to partake in club activities. The membership fee is dependent on the club and is annually based. Refer to the club for more information. To apply, e-mail us at contact@filmartinstitute.com

 

Adventure Club image Adventure Club

The adventure club is for anyone interested in outdoor activities such as cycling, hiking, camping, canoeing and exploring nature. The goal is to have fun in exploring mother nature and keeping fit. Members will meet once every two weeks and go on an adventure.

Membership: $20 (student) | $40 (non-student)


Board Game Club image Board Game Club

This club is for anyone interested in playing and designing board games, card games and table-top role-playing games. Members meet at the clubhouse to playtest games, while discussing the underlying mechanics andcreate their own games in the process.

Graphic Novel Club image Graphic Novel Club

For those interested in manga, comics and animation, this club allows them to meet up once a week at the clubhouse to discuss about comics, graphic novels, manga and anime. They are also encouraged to create their own graphic novels.

Membership: $10 (student) | $20 (non-student)


Story Club image Story Club

This is a club for those interested in learning how to develop ideas into stories. Members meet at the clubhouse to discuss structures that make stories work. Members learn to hone their skills to develop stories for novels, scripts and graphic novels/manga.
