When To Apply

The Film & Art Institute allows students to enroll at any Fall, Spring, Summer and Winter semesters.

Note: The deadline for class enrollment is one week before the start of the course.

 

Curriculum

The Film & Art Institute offers various options for learning. Below is the chart showing the comparison between the different learning options:

* The starter course, weekly sessions and introductory workshop classes are held on Saturday.

** The study program courses are available from Monday to Saturday, depending on the level of the course. Please refer to the specific course in the Study Program page for the class time.


STUDY PROGRAMS

16-Week Course (Spring / Fall Semester)
3 hour class, 5 hour assignment

This course holds 1 class a week for a total of 16 weeks. Each week, students will spend 3 hours of class time and approximately 5 hours for assignment.


8-Week Course (Summer / Winter Semester)

6 hour class, 10 hour assignment

This course holds 2 classes a week for a total of 8 weeks. Each week, students will spend 6 hours of class time and approximately 10 hours for assignment.

 

STARTER COURSE & WEEKLY SESSION

Starter Course (Starts 1st Week of Every Month)
3 hour class, 5 hour assignment
The starter course holds 1 class a week for a total of 4 weeks. Each week, students will spend 3 hours of class time and approximately 5 hours for assignment. This course starts on the 1st week of every month.

Weekly Session
3 hour class, in-class projects

The weekly session is a continuation of the starter course and is held once per week. Class topics will be provided on a weekly basis, covering topics in the areas of 3D modeling, animating, lighting and rendering. Each week, students will spend 3 hours of class time and work on in-class projects. No assignment is given out.

 

INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP

Computer Animation Intro Workshop (Every Saturday)
The introductory workshop is held on the 1st week of each month. During each workshop, students will spend 3 hours of class time and work on in-class projects. No assignment is given out.
